An audiological evaluation is done to determine the type and severity of the hearing loss. This evaluation occurs in a sound-booth to ensure the quietest environment for testing. Following this evaluation results are discussed and recommendations are made regarding appropriate choices for the remediation of the hearing loss. After the hearing aids are dispensed there is continued contact to ensure adjustment to improved hearing sensitivity.
